Salomon Ultra Pirineu

The Salomon Ultra Pirineu takes runners deep into Spain's Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, where the Pyrenees show their wild side. Based in the mountain town of Bagà, the event offers three distances — 21km with 1,036m of climbing, 41km with 2,737m, and the flagship 100km covering 6,561m of elevation gain. The longer routes traverse some of the range's most spectacular high mountain terrain, with technical trails and sustained climbing that demand solid mountain experience. The event draws runners from over 60 countries, creating an international atmosphere in the Catalan Pyrenees. October timing means crisp autumn air and the landscape painted in seasonal colours, though conditions can be challenging at altitude.
