The 100 Millas Sierras del Bandolero takes runners deep into Andalusia's white village country, threading through dramatic limestone landscapes between Cádiz and Málaga provinces. The route connects iconic pueblos blancos — Grazalema, Ronda, Villaluenga del Rosario — via ancient trails and mountain tracks that define this storied region. Three distances suit different ambitions: a 38-kilometre introduction with 1,346 metres of climbing, an 81-kilometre challenge through the heart of the sierras adding over 3,300 metres of elevation, and the full 159-kilometre journey with more than 6,000 metres of ascent. Organized by the local Tritón Hiking Club, this March event showcases southern Spain's striking trail terrain, where rugged sierras meet traditional Andalusian culture.
