The Novo Mesto Half Marathon brings World Athletics-certified racing to Slovenia's medieval town each November. Three distances — half marathon, 10 kilometres, and 5 kilometres — start together in a mass start that creates an energetic atmosphere. The half marathon follows a gentle profile with just 102 metres of climbing, making it ideal for those chasing a personal best. The 10-kilometre course uses a two-lap design, while the 5-kilometre offers a single loop that's perfect for first-time racers. Organised by the local Dolenjska Running Association, the event combines professional timing and elite competition with a welcoming community spirit that celebrates runners of all abilities.
