Neuropolis Race

Set in the historic landscapes of Amfikleia in central Greece, the Neuropolis Race takes runners on a 21-kilometre journey through terrain steeped in ancient mythology. The course gains 874 metres of elevation as it winds through rolling hills and traditional Greek countryside, offering a taste of authentic trail running without extreme technicality. Named after the ancient city of Neuropolis, the race adds a layer of cultural richness to the physical challenge. November timing brings cooler conditions ideal for sustained effort, a welcome change from Greece's summer heat. The route strikes a nice balance — challenging enough to feel like an accomplishment, approachable enough for those stepping up from road running or looking for an off-the-beaten-path European trail experience.
