Set in the legendary forests outside Thebes, the Moschopodi Trail weaves through ancient Mycenaean paths and past archaeological sites tied to Greek mythology. The event offers something for everyone: a challenging 25km trail run, an accessible 11km route, an 8km walk, and even a 30km mountain bike option. For the ambitious, there's a combined trail-MTB challenge. Starting from the Melina Mercouri Open Theatre, runners follow historic woodland trails where legend and landscape intertwine. The Thebes Athletics Association has crafted an event that balances competitive spirit with the quiet beauty of this storied region.
