Joust 12 Hr and 24 Hr Challenge

About this event

Set on a private farm estate in Holt Heath, the Joust challenges runners to cover as many 5.5-mile loops as possible within 12 or 24 hours. The relatively flat, off-road course changes subtly each year, keeping things fresh for returning participants. Runners can tackle the 24-hour challenge solo or share the effort in teams of varying sizes, strategizing when to rest and when to push. The 12-hour version offers a clear target: complete 50 miles and the rest of the time is yours to recover and support fellow runners. Fully marshalled and well-marked, the event strikes a balance between serious endurance testing and a supportive, festival-like atmosphere where camaraderie matters as much as distance covered.
