itdesign-Nikolauslauf Tübingen

7 Dec 2025Tübingen, 🇩🇪 Germany

About this event

Set in the historic university town of Tübingen, the itdesign-Nikolauslauf brings festive cheer to the trails just before Christmas. This December event takes runners through the rolling hills and forested paths surrounding the picturesque Neckar valley, where medieval architecture meets natural beauty. The timing couldn't be more atmospheric — runners tackle the trails as winter settles in, with the crisp air and potential for light snow adding to the seasonal ambiance. The Nikolauslauf (St. Nicholas Run) embraces the pre-Christmas tradition, making it a memorable way to combine trail running with holiday spirit. The surrounding Swabian landscape offers varied terrain, from riverside paths to wooded climbs above the old town.
