About this event

The Great Eastern Run offers a fast, flat half marathon through the heart of Peterborough. Starting and finishing at the Embankment, the course winds through the city centre on a route designed for both PB chasers and first-time half marathoners. The event also includes a 5-kilometre Fun Run, making it accessible for newer runners or those wanting a shorter distance. The straightforward urban course has made it a popular choice for charity fundraisers and anyone seeking a no-frills half marathon experience. October timing and the pancake-flat profile make it particularly appealing for those targeting a strong finishing time.
