About this event
The Globus Marathon St. Wendel brings runners to the scenic Saarland region of western Germany each spring. Based in Sankt Wendel, the event offers four distances to suit different ambitions: a full marathon for seasoned runners, a half marathon for those seeking a solid challenge, and 10km and 5km options that welcome newer runners to test themselves on proper road racing terrain. The course winds through the rolling countryside that characterizes this part of Germany, where forested hillsides meet traditional villages. It's a well-organized event that draws a friendly local crowd, making it a pleasant choice for anyone looking to race in a less touristy corner of Europe.
