About this event
The Famagusta Run brings road racing to Cyprus's sun-drenched eastern coast near Paralimni. Set on closed roads along the Mediterranean shoreline, the event offers four distances — from a 1-kilometre dash to a full 30-kilometre challenge — all on flat, fast courses ideal for personal bests. The coastal setting provides beautiful sea views throughout, while the organisation balances serious racing standards with warm Cypriot hospitality. After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy local music, food, and culture in the post-race celebration. Mid-October timing means favourable running temperatures, and the beginner-friendly shorter distances make this accessible to runners of all levels looking to experience Mediterranean road racing.
