Ecotrail Bergen sends runners into the dramatic landscapes surrounding Norway's coastal city, where steep climbs reward with sweeping views across fjords and peaks. The course weaves through pristine Nordic terrain, offering five distances from a scenic 12km (259m climbing) to the demanding 91km ultra (3,931m elevation gain). The 65km route alone tackles nearly 3,000 metres of ascent. Bergen's unique position between sea and mountains creates constantly changing perspectives, with trails connecting alpine ridges to coastal viewpoints. The technical terrain and significant vertical make this an event for experienced mountain runners ready for a serious challenge.
