About this event
The ebm-papst Marathon takes runners through the rolling landscapes of Niedernhall in southern Germany's Hohenlohe region. Set in early autumn when the countryside glows with harvest colours, this road race offers four distances to suit different ambitions. The full marathon and half marathon challenge experienced runners with varied terrain, while the 5km and 10km options welcome those looking for a shorter effort. The event winds through charming villages and open farmland, giving participants a genuine taste of rural Baden-Württemberg. It's a well-organized local race with a warm community atmosphere, perfect for anyone seeking a scenic September run away from the typical big-city marathon circuit.
