About this event
Set in the rolling Devon countryside near Broadwoodwidger, this autumn duathlon tests multi-sport endurance across varied terrain. The race begins with two laps of a five-kilometre traffic-free gravel run before transitioning to quiet country roads for the bike leg — smooth, undulating routes previously used for national championships. Athletes return for a final five-kilometre run to close out the challenge. The standard distance covers 61 kilometres and serves as a qualifier for Age Group World Championships, while the 27.5-kilometre sprint option offers a shorter alternative. Both formats follow non-drafting rules, making pacing and strategy essential throughout.
