Dartmouth Triathlon

The Dartmouth Triathlon kicks off with a swim at Blackpool Sands, a sheltered cove on Devon's South Coast where the water tends to stay calm. The bike leg heads out and back through Slapton on one of the area's flattest stretches of road, before runners finish along Blackpool Valley Road, a quiet lane that follows a stream with a gentle climb to the turnaround. The course design includes a second transition point to keep athletes off busy roads, making for smooth changeovers between disciplines. Standard and sprint distances are on offer, along with aquabike options for those who prefer to skip the run.
