Dartmouth Aquabike

About this event

The Dartmouth Aquabike combines open water swimming at Blackpool Sands with cycling through Devon's rolling countryside. Swimmers tackle either a 750m or 1500m course in the bay's sheltered waters before transitioning to out-and-back bike routes of 20km or 40km via Slapton. The cycling follows some of Devon's gentler roads, offering views of the South Devon coastline without punishing climbs. What sets this event apart is the rare chance to camp directly on the beach afterward, turning race day into a proper seaside weekend. For those wanting extra water time, optional sea swims run on Saturday evening.
