About this event

This challenging winter crossing takes runners from the Welsh coast at Nant Gwrtheyrn across Snowdonia to the opposite shore. The 61-kilometre route, with 1,284 metres of climbing, traverses some of North Wales' most dramatic mountain terrain in early November, when autumn gives way to the first hints of winter. The course is well-marked and supported by fully stocked checkpoints offering both standard and vegan options. Known for its friendly marshals (affectionately called the 'Bobble Brutal' crew) and memorable atmosphere, this event rewards finishers with a unique collectors edition t-shirt and medal. Best suited for runners comfortable with sustained mountain running in potentially challenging conditions.
