The Čertovskej Trail explores the mysterious landscapes of the Mácha region in northern Czech Republic, where castles, valleys and hidden waters create an atmospheric backdrop for this challenging mountain run. Starting from the village of Houska, known for its enigmatic chapel, the route ventures through hills steeped in local legend and natural beauty. Runners choose between a 35-kilometre course with 980 metres of climbing, or the full 67-kilometre distance gaining 1,710 metres through the terrain surrounding Ralsko. The technical trails and varied elevation demand solid navigation skills and mountain experience, making this a proper test for seasoned trail runners seeking adventure off the beaten path.
