Brut80 takes runners through the rugged forests and rolling hills of the Belgian Ardennes, starting from Ferrières. This 80-kilometer ultra covers 2,200 meters of elevation gain, weaving through ancient woodlands and remote valleys where trail conditions can be challenging and technical. The early March timing means runners often encounter muddy paths and unpredictable weather, adding an extra layer of grit to the experience. It's a genuine test of endurance and navigation skills, designed for experienced ultra runners who appreciate raw, unpolished terrain. The course showcases a quieter side of Belgium's trail running scene, far from crowds and tourist trails.
