About this event

The BigXmas Trail Festival brings a festive twist to trail running in Greater Manchester, with three distances ranging from 11km to a full marathon. The routes weave through a mix of urban paths and countryside, with the longer distances showcasing the Trans Pennine Trail and a peaceful return along the Bridgewater Canal. The festival atmosphere and well-marked courses make it accessible across abilities, though the marathon and half require solid experience. It's a great winter option for runners looking to explore Manchester's surprising green corridors, with a bespoke medal waiting at the finish to mark the achievement.
