Set in the scenic Višňovská Valley in Slovakia's Malá Fatra mountains, this 6-kilometre vertical challenge climbs 825 metres toward Minčol's summit. The route starts gently through the valley before ascending the main ridge, where clear skies reveal sweeping views of both the Krivánska and Lúčanská ranges. While welcoming to newer trail runners, this is a genuine mountain ascent with steep sections that leave little room to recover, and the final stretch often becomes a determined power-hike rather than a run. Mid-November timing brings crisp autumn air and the possibility of early snow dusting the higher slopes, adding to the atmosphere.
