Beh hrebeňom Čergova follows the ridgeline of the Čergov mountain range in eastern Slovakia, taking runners along 32 kilometres of traditional mountain paths with 1,380 metres of climbing. The route winds through mixed forest and open ridge terrain, offering expansive views across the Prešov region when conditions allow. Late October brings crisp autumn air and the possibility of early winter touches in the highlands, adding an extra edge to this technical challenge. The event draws a committed community of Slovak trail runners who value both the demanding nature of the course and the quiet beauty of this lesser-known range.
