Baran Trail Race

Set in the Beskid Żywiecki mountains of southern Poland, the Baran Trail Race offers four distances that explore these rugged highlands near Węgierska Górka. The 11km and 25km routes introduce runners to the rolling terrain, while the 58km and 107km challenges climb through remote forested ridges and alpine meadows—the longest option ascending nearly 4,800 metres over its course. Early October brings spectacular autumn colours to the beech forests, transforming the landscape into a tapestry of golds and reds. The longer distances demand mountain experience and technical skills, rewarding runners with the wild, unspoiled character of the Polish Carpathians. Weather in these mountains can shift quickly, adding another dimension to the challenge.
