ATW Oundle Triathlon

Set in the historic market town of Oundle, this triathlon makes excellent use of the area's blend of heritage and countryside. Swimmers start in a rare indoor 50m pool before heading out onto open roads that wind through the gently rolling farmland north of town. The bike course is draft-illegal, giving everyone their own race to run. The final leg loops around Oundle School's expansive grass playing fields, where the soft terrain adds a welcome challenge after the tarmac. With sprint and super sprint options, plus an aquabike variant, it's a well-organized event that lets athletes focus on their performance in a quintessentially English setting.
