About this event
The ATW Odyssey Triathlon takes athletes through the rolling Cambridgeshire countryside, with two distance options suited to experienced triathletes. The full distance covers a 3.8km swim in the River Ouse, a 180km bike ride through rural farmland and quiet lanes, and a 42.2km run along the riverside paths of St Neots. The half distance offers a 1.9km swim, 90km cycle, and 21.1km run through the same scenic terrain. Both races run alongside the Odyssey Aquabike event, creating a supportive atmosphere where athletes tackle their own challenges together. The relatively flat countryside makes for fast cycling and consistent running, while the river swim winds through peaceful waterways. Well-organized support stations keep competitors fueled throughout these serious endurance tests.
