Following the River Aire through Leeds, this event offers two distances along the Trans Pennine Trail's riverside paths. The 45km Ultra and 22km Super Trail Half wind through the city's green corridors, mixing urban parkland with peaceful waterside stretches. The terrain stays relatively flat and fast, making it ideal for runners chasing times or testing their endurance on well-maintained trails. Starting from the Climate Innovation District at Piglove By The River, the route features solid footpath conditions with just a few small bridges to navigate. Post-race refreshments include a complimentary pint at the Piglove beer garden, perfect for celebrating alongside fellow runners.
