The adidas Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival brings together runners of all levels in the heart of the Austrian Alps each May. Ten distances span from gentle 7-8km introductions with minimal climbing to a formidable 106km ultra gaining over 5,000 metres through Innsbruck's dramatic mountain terrain. The shorter routes offer newcomers a welcoming entry into alpine running, while mid-distance options like the 24km (1,481m elevation) and 37km (2,126m) provide serious mountain challenges without committing to ultra territory. The festival atmosphere makes it particularly approachable for those new to trails, with courses to match nearly any fitness level and ambition.
