20 Along the Forth
About this event
This 32km route along the Firth of Forth offers a distinctive mix of surfaces — three-quarters road, one-quarter farm trails — with moderate rolling terrain that never gets too steep. Starting from Cargilfield School, the course winds through the historic Dalmeny Estate before reaching South Queensferry, then crosses the iconic Forth Road Bridge with its sweeping water views. The route finishes at Cramond, a picturesque coastal village where the River Almond meets the sea. With around 350 metres of climbing spread throughout, it's a solid endurance challenge that works well as a stepping stone toward longer distances. The event also raises funds for MS Society Scotland.
