10K Gimnastica de Ulia

Running since 1931, the 10K Gimnástica de Ulía is the oldest road race in the Basque Country. The course follows San Sebastián's scenic Zurriola Beach promenade — flat, fast, and RFEA-certified, making it popular with runners aiming for personal records. Both 5K and 10K distances are open to everyone without requiring a federation license, while a separate elite 10K welcomes sub-40-minute runners. The race attracts strong fields, with recent performances including Adel Mechaal's 27:55 and triathlon champion Mario Mola's road racing debut. Junior categories are also available for younger athletes.
