Veneto Gravel takes riders deep into the heart of northeastern Italy's diverse landscapes, where ancient Roman roads meet rolling vineyard hills. Starting from the historic town of Piazzola sul Brenta, this self-supported gravel adventure offers two substantial routes: a 400km journey with 2800m of climbing, or the full 720km challenge featuring 4300m of elevation gain. The terrain weaves through the Veneto countryside, passing medieval villages, quiet farmland, and glimpses of the Dolomites in the distance. This is gravel riding at its most authentic—long days in the saddle, navigation skills required, and the kind of experience that rewards preparation and endurance. Best suited for riders comfortable with multi-day, self-sufficient adventures.
