The Trail du D+ Plus lives up to its name with challenging routes through the Belgian Ardennes near Fays-les-Veneurs. Three distances cater to different ambitions: a punchy 16km with 450m of climbing for intermediate runners, while the 32km and 42km variants push seasoned trail runners with 1300m and 1600m of elevation respectively. Set in early spring when the forest is awakening, this event offers a proper test of hill strength across the rolling Ardennes terrain. The technical climbs and descents demand solid trail experience, making it ideal for runners looking to sharpen their vertical game before the main season kicks off.
