Tamaro Trail

The Tamaro Trail takes runners straight up through the forests above Rivera, climbing 1,150 meters over 7.6 kilometers to reach Alpe Foppa at nearly 1,600 meters. It's a proper vertical challenge, the kind that tests the legs and rewards with increasingly sweeping views as the trees thin out. The route weaves through dense woodland before opening onto alpine terrain, and finishes at the Alpe Foppa restaurant where tired runners can refuel. A canicross option lets participants tackle the climb with their dogs, while a gentler trail variant offers an alternative for those wanting less elevation. The event includes convenient parking and streamlined registration.
