The second race in the Rye Summer Series takes runners through Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, a protected coastal landscape that feels worlds away from typical road racing. The flat course winds past shingle ridges, saltmarsh, and reed beds, offering a constantly shifting backdrop of wetland scenery. Coastal breezes add character to the route, though calm days can bring surprisingly quick times. With 10km, 5km, and a 1km junior option, the series welcomes families and runners of all levels.
