MBNA Chester 10K

The MBNA Chester 10K kicks off the Chester Triple Medal Series with a fast, flat route through one of England's most historic cities. Starting near the iconic Chester Racecourse, the course heads northwest through wide streets before looping through the village of Mollington and back into the city centre. Runners pass striking landmarks including the Victorian Town Hall and Medieval Cathedral before finishing on Eastgate Street beneath the famous Eastgate Clock. The city-centre setting creates a lively atmosphere, with thousands of participants and spectators lining the route each year. While the flat profile makes for quick times, this is a popular sell-out race best suited to those comfortable with 10K racing pace.
