The Maratona di Ragusa takes runners through Sicily's stunning baroque city, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its honey-colored stone architecture and dramatic hilltop setting. The course winds through Ragusa's historic quarters, crossing ancient bridges and passing ornate churches before finishing in the magnificent Piazza Duomo. Three distances cater to different ambitions: a full marathon for seasoned runners, a half marathon, and a walking option that lets participants savor the scenery at a gentler pace. The January date means cooler temperatures for running, while the rolling Sicilian terrain adds character to every kilometer.
