La Baleine En Course takes runners through the historic salt marshes and Mediterranean landscapes surrounding Aigues-Mortes, a beautifully preserved medieval walled town in southern France. The event offers an impressive range of distances from 12km to 58km, mostly on road with one 30km trail option, making it versatile for different running goals. The terrain is relatively flat, with gentle elevation gains that allow runners to focus on pacing and soaking in the unique scenery of the Camargue region. The longer distances provide a solid challenge for experienced runners, while the shorter routes offer accessible entry points.
