Set in the stunning Pyrenean Val d'Aran, this UTMB event showcases the dramatic beauty of Spain's northernmost mountain valley. The course winds through ancient forests, across alpine meadows, and along high ridgelines where views stretch toward both France and Spain. With eight distances ranging from the accessible 10K around Vielha to the epic 163K Torn dera Val d'Aran, there's a route for every level of trail runner. The shorter distances offer a welcoming entry point for those newer to mountain running, while the longer courses challenge even seasoned ultra runners. The region's mix of technical trails, cultural heritage, and genuine mountain atmosphere creates something special beyond the racing itself.
