Heuvelland Marathon

The Heuvelland Marathon takes runners through the rolling hills of the Netherlands' highest point near Vaals, where the borders of three countries meet. This challenging event tackles 595 meters of climbing across distances from half marathon to full marathon, making it a proper test for experienced trail runners. The course winds through the distinctive landscape of South Limburg, where woodland trails and open hillsides replace the flatlands most associate with Dutch running. A relay option lets teams tackle the full marathon distance together, sharing the effort through this surprisingly hilly corner of the Netherlands.
