The Grand Raid CRO Magnon brings serious trail running to the dramatic Vermenagna Valley in the Italian Alps. The centerpiece 100km route tackles 6,000 meters of climbing through remote alpine terrain, while the 30km option offers a more accessible introduction to this rugged corner of Piedmont. Part of the ONE HUNDRED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP circuit, the event attracts strong runners from across Europe, drawn by technical trails that wind through high valleys and ridgelines near the French border. The festival atmosphere includes multiple race distances and a couples category, though the challenging elevation profiles make this one for experienced mountain runners ready to test themselves on demanding alpine terrain.
