Franciacorta Gravel takes runners through the rolling hills of Lombardy's renowned wine country, just east of Lake Iseo. The routes wind through vineyards, historic estates, and quiet gravel roads that connect the charming villages of this UNESCO-recognized landscape. Three distances cater to experienced trail runners, from a challenging 48km to a full 100km adventure. The terrain rewards those comfortable with long distances and sustained climbs, offering sweeping views over vine-covered slopes and the distant Alps. Spring timing means mild weather and green countryside, though these courses demand solid preparation and endurance.
