Epidavrios Dromos - Half Marathon

The Epidavrios Dromos weaves through layers of Greek history, starting at the Small Theater of Ancient Epidaurus and finishing at the UNESCO-listed Grand Theater, famed for its remarkable acoustics. Runners pass through silvery olive groves, the harbour of Ancient Epidaurus, and the cobbled lanes of Ligourio, with views stretching across the Argolic Gulf. The route connects ancient healing temples and amphitheatres where Sophocles' plays once premiered, ending at the Asklepion Stadium where athletes competed millennia ago. With a half marathon, 5km, and kids' race, it's a rare chance to run where history and landscape intertwine under the Peloponnesian sun.
