Boscross takes runners through the forested landscapes of Westerveld in the Netherlands, offering a true winter trail experience in mid-December. The event features four distances ranging from a challenging 10km through to a full marathon, each winding through the region's characteristic woodlands and natural terrain. The courses traverse pine forests and sandy trails typical of this Dutch nature reserve, providing a refreshing change from flat polder landscapes. With options spanning 10 to 42 kilometers, runners can choose their challenge level, though most distances demand solid trail experience and fitness for the technical woodland sections.
