The Alpe Adria Winter Ultra brings trail running to the snowy heart of the Julian Alps near the Slovenian border. Based in Pezzeit, runners choose from four winter routes ranging from the gentle 4.2km Kyle Trail to the more demanding 16km Alpe Adria Dogna Winter. The courses wind through snow-laden forests and tackle alpine terrain that transforms familiar trails into something magical. With options spanning beginner to intermediate levels, the event welcomes both winter trail newcomers and experienced runners looking for a proper alpine challenge. Post-race refreshments help runners warm up and swap stories after their snowy adventure.
