About this event
Known as one of Europe's fastest half-marathons, the Welser Half-marathon offers ideal conditions for those chasing a personal best. The flat, officially measured course loops through the city on traffic-free streets, passing local landmarks before finishing near the Stadthalle Wels. While the half-marathon draws experienced runners, the event welcomes all levels with shorter distances including 14k, 10k, and 5k options on a quick loop course. Even the youngest runners can join in with a 500m family run. The enthusiastic crowd support and music-filled finish area create an energizing atmosphere, and all finishers receive a medal and starter bag. It's a well-organized event where the fast course and supportive environment help runners of all abilities perform their best.
