VTM powered by Salomon GRVL has been bringing runners to Szar's rolling countryside since 2007, making it one of Hungary's most established trail events. The terrain here is built for speed — runnable, non-technical trails that flow through the landscape with steady climbs rather than technical scrambles. Four distances span from 13km with 327 metres of elevation to a 50km route gaining 1,107 metres, each offering a different way to test pace on trail. The event has weathered everything from sunshine to snow over the years, but the fast, flowing character of the course stays the same. For runners considering their first trail marathon, the 39km presents a solid challenge without overwhelming technicality.
