The V19k Victoria Lines Malta follows the historic Victoria Lines, a 19th-century defensive wall that snakes across Malta's dramatic northern ridge. Runners traverse 19 kilometres of rugged coastal terrain with 470 metres of climbing, passing through ancient fortifications and remote countryside. The route offers sweeping views across the Mediterranean landscape, where limestone cliffs meet terraced fields and wild garrigue. Starting from Naxxar, the course traces Malta's Great Fault escarpment, revealing layers of the island's military and natural history.
