Tjejmilen Sälen

Tjejmilen Sälen brings together nearly 2,000 women each summer for a weekend that balances trail running with pure mountain enjoyment. Starting at the top of Lindvallen (reached via chairlift), runners choose between 5km and 10km routes that wind across the wooden trails of Mellanfjället and Hemfjället, passing the rustic Hemfjällsstugan mountain hut. The terrain offers a gentle introduction to mountain trails, with well-marked paths and aid stations throughout. What makes this event special is the atmosphere — part race, part retreat, with a pre-run buffet, spa sessions at Experium Lindvallen, and an after-party where friendships form as easily as they do on the trails. Since 2022, it has become a fixture on Sweden's summer calendar, creating a welcoming space where women of all abilities can discover the joy of running in the mountains.
