About this event
The Tewkesbury Half Marathon takes runners through the historic market town of Tewkesbury and its surrounding Gloucestershire countryside. This road race offers a chance to explore the medieval streets and riverside paths where the Rivers Severn and Avon meet, before heading out into the rolling farmland beyond. The course suits those comfortable with the half marathon distance, weaving past historic buildings including the magnificent abbey that dominates the town centre. Spring timing means runners encounter the area as it comes alive with fresh greenery, making for pleasant scenery along what is primarily a flat, fast course through quintessentially English landscapes.
