About this event
The Split Marathon traces the Dalmatian coastline from Split to the ancient Roman city of Solin, weaving past historical landmarks and natural beauty. The AIMS-certified course takes runners along the green slopes of Marjan Hill, by the Jadro river's natural spring, and through an unusual highlight — a section inside Hajduk Split's football stadium. The race finishes at the Riva promenade, right beside Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With four distance options from 5km to the full marathon, the event balances competitive racing with sightseeing. Aid stations are plentiful, timing is precise, and every finisher receives a medal. Part of the AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings, it attracts runners from around the world looking for both performance and a memorable coastal setting.
