Salcey Forest Christmas 10k, 5k & Junior Fun Run!
About this event
This festive forest run brings trail runners to Salcey Forest's woodland paths for a seasonal celebration. The event offers 10K and 5K distances, plus a Junior Fun Run, all winding through tree-lined trails with gentle terrain that suits different fitness levels. The December date means crisp winter air and bare branches overhead, creating that classic wintry forest atmosphere. What sets this apart is the holiday spirit — runners often arrive in Santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer antlers, turning the trails into a cheerful procession of festive fancy dress. The marshals embrace the seasonal theme, and the whole event maintains a warm, inclusive vibe that balances competitive running with holiday fun.
