Run Mawnan

Run Mawnan brings together the coastal village of Mawnan Smith each September for a warm, community-centered road race that welcomes everyone from local families to seasoned runners. Organized by Falmouth Rotary as a charity fundraiser, the event offers three distances — a 10K and 5K that wind through the village lanes and surrounding countryside, plus a 1-mile fun run for children. The courses start from Carwinion Playing Field, where runners are cheered on by enthusiastic marshals and a supportive crowd. Beyond the running, the day feels like a proper village celebration, with food stalls, raffles, and family activities creating a festive atmosphere.
